Kara joined the REAACT lab in 2018, and she is currently coordinating the EXPAND study and the Autism Inpatient Collection Study. She was involved in research during and after her undergraduate education. After earning her MSW, she gained experience in education, development, and coordination in the nonprofit sector in Colorado. She has worked with the autistic community in a variety of areas, including schools, summer camps, adaptive sports, and therapeutic recreation.
