Matthew Siegel, MD is Vice President of Medical Affairs, Developmental Disorders Service Line of Maine Behavioral Healthcare and Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics of Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Siegel attended Amherst College, Stanford Medical School and trained at Brown University in child psychiatry, psychiatry, and pediatrics. He built a single hospital unit into a multi-level service line with over 200 FTE and a $25 M annual budget.  He recently opened the 28,000 SF Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence after leading an $8.5 M capital campaign.  He is a consultant on psychiatric systems of care for multiple state governments, hospitals and health systems. He is the Founder and Principal Investigator of the Autism and Developmental Disorders Inpatient Research Collaborative (ADDIRC), and founded the first learning health network for psychiatric hospitals serving people with developmental disabilities. He co-authored the Practice Parameter on Autism Spectrum Disorder and the Parameter on Intellectual Disability. He is a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Inter-Agency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC). He lives in Yarmouth, Maine with his wife and 3 daughters.
