Dr. Perlman is a developmental cognitive neuroscientist who specializes in early childhood brain development. She uses mulit-modal imaging to investigate neural circuitry of emotion as a predictor for he onset of psychopathology symptoms. Her work with the REAACT team investigates emotion regulation in autism spectrum disorders using optical imaging.
