Rebecca Cohen B.S

  • Research Specialist

I graduated in August 2025 from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Psychology and minors in Hispanic Language and Culture as well as Exercise Science. I have a range of previous research experience including a market research internship with Olson Zaltman Associates, and fulfilling a research assistant roles in both the ExerSleep lab and the START Smart/TIPS Lab at the University of Pittsburgh.

I plan to attend graduate school, earn a PhD, and conduct psychological research in my long-term career. I know I am passionate about investigating and improving mental health, especially within disadvantaged or minority groups. As a research Specialist in the Dissemination and Partnership Core, I am honing in on what I want to research.

I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where I grew up with my parents and two older siblings. I love trying new activities and have a broad range of interests - from reading, to running, to painting, and playing the guitar. One fun fact about me is that I lived in Brazil when I was a kid for a few years!
