Maggie Zink B.S., B.A,

Maggie is a PhD candidate specializing in Auditory Neuroscience, specifically the intersection of cognitive and perceptual ability. She obtained bachelor's degrees in Neuroscience and Music: Vocal Performance at Saint Louis University, and then specialized in auditory neuroscience during her post-baccalaureate research training at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She is completing her doctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh, where she focuses on central and peripheral contributions to speech perception deficits in adverse listening conditions, with emphasis in cochlear neuropathy, autism, depression, and aging. In collaboration with the ACE team, Maggie is working to identify mechanisms underlying effortful speech perception in autistic adults.
